Eleganza and Romantica – Two Refined, Sustainable Collections
A gift that lasts: an Easter Colomba to enjoy, and elegant, reusable packaging — ideal for storing linens or as containers for clothing accessories and small objects.
“We’ve transformed packaging into something more than just a box: an object that remains, finding its place in people’s everyday lives,” explains Dario Loison.
For Easter 2025, Loison renews its commitment to creating refined and sustainable packaging, presenting two new collections: Eleganza and Romantica. The packaging, designed by Sonia Design, is meant to be reused — a true “gift within the gift”, combining aesthetics with functionality.
Reusable packaging is a fast-growing trend, and for 35 years, Loison has made it a distinctive element of its brand identity. This choice goes beyond beauty, responding to the increasing demand for sustainable solutions. “We’ve transformed packaging into something more than just a box: an object that remains, finding its place in people’s everyday lives,” adds Dario Loison.
This topic is explored in the press release “Loison: 35 Years of Sustainable and Creative Packaging”.

ELEGANCE AND PRACTICALITY WITH THE EMBOSSED COTTON POUCH
THE PACKAGING. Combining practicality and elegance for organizing your home or suitcase is essential for those who love order without giving up style. The multi-purpose pouch from the Eleganza collection was created for just this purpose — a refined and functional accessory, ideal for holding linens, swimwear, or even shoes while traveling.
Made of high-quality, washable embossed cotton, it’s enhanced by an elegant bow with a pearl, a beloved signature detail by Sonia Pilla.
Available in the three classic Sonia Design colors — green, light blue, and lilac — it represents a sophisticated solution for those seeking to combine beauty with practicality.
THE COLOMBA.The Easter Colomba comes in four flavors, all in the generous one-kilogram size:
- Classica A.D. 1552: the traditional taste, featuring a soft, highly digestible dough thanks to natural sourdough and 72 hours of processing;
- Mandarino: made with Late Ciaculli Mandarin (Slow Food Presidium), perfect for citrus lovers;
- Regal Cioccolato: a triumph of temptation for chocolate enthusiasts;
- Albicocca Basilico: a new flavor launched in 2024, combining two traditional ingredients in an unexpected and innovative pairing.

A TOUCH OF ROMANTICISM WITH THE QUILTED-TEXTURE BOX
THE PACKAGING. The Romantica collection, heir to the historic oval hatbox, has been reinvented into a new square box, designed for both practicality and versatility.
Intended for smart reuse, it fits perfectly into wardrobes as a refined container for clothing accessories. Its rigid structure, in a delicate lilac shade, is enhanced by a quilted texture, inspired by the upholstery styles of sofas, armchairs, and headboards dating back to the 1800s, adding timeless charm.
THE COLOMBA. Due to popular demand, the Romantica Collection now offers a selection of four one-kilogram Colombe:
- Classica A.D. 1552: unmatched for its soft sourdough base, rich in sulfite-free Sicilian candied orange peel;
- Regal Cioccolato: featuring three different chocolate elements — chocolate chips in the dough, a creamy filling, and a topping of dark chocolate curls;
- Salted Caramel: covered with caramel white chocolate, filled with milk chocolate drops, and a luscious salted butter caramel cream;
- Pesca Nocciola: an unexpected pairing of tender semi-candied peach and the crunchy elegance of Italian hazelnuts.

The Colombe from the Eleganza and Romantica collections are made with top-quality, certified ingredients such as mountain milk, butter and cream, free-range eggs, premium flour, Cervia sea salt, and natural Mananara Madagascar vanilla (Slow Food Presidium).
Loison Pasticceri dal 1938
Simple roots, genuine ingredients, traditional pastries: these are the values at the heart of the Loison family’s story, four generations of pastry chefs from Costabissara, in the province of Vicenza.
It all began in 1938 with grandfather Tranquillo, the first to fall in love with the art of baking and to pass it on to his son Alessandro. Together, they turned the family oven into an artisan business, inaugurating a new workshop in 1969.
Since 1992, Dario Loison has led the company, now joined by his son Edoardo, keeping the artisanal spirit alive while expanding internationally and always looking toward the future.
Every Loison creation is the result of passion, time, and research: the pastries are brought to life with live sourdough, through a slow 72-hour process using carefully selected ingredients, including Slow Food Presidia products.
The numbers behind Loison Pastry Chefs reflect an artisan reality with an international soul: over 30 years of exports worldwide; more than 70 countries won over by Loison’s flavor; 97% of production under the Loison brand, a name synonymous with gourmet value. With over 500 direct customers worldwide, the company stands out for its short supply chain and trusted, transparent relationships with its partners.
