Veneziana
SWEET REFLECTION OF CULTURE ON THE TABLE
The Veneziana is a cake rooted in the culinary tradition of the city of Venice, a symbol of history, cultural influences from distant lands and Italian creativity. Over time, the simple softness of its dough was enriched by the spices that arrived from the East. Dario Loison created his Veneziana by blending the uniqueness of Venetian tradition with the experience and passion gained over the years. The result is a wonder of expertly leavened dough: 72 hours of patient craftsmanship, a rich decoration of fine pearl sugar and Italian dried fruit make it a jewel of pastry art.
WRAPPING
One glance at Sonia Design’s packaging is enough to be transported to the enchanting city of Venice. The Grand Canal, the familiar statue of the Moorish merchant Rioba and Palazzo Mastelli are elegantly reproduced on the wrapping and combined with the traditional shape of the Venetian window, giving texture and depth to the entire package. The final touch is the ribbon holder: the coin known as the Osella, which the Doge offered to the members of the Great Council.
