FoodCommunity Awards

Dario Loison takes first place in the 2nd edition of the competition’s Food Story category. “A three-generation confectionery that exports its products to 55 countries. Universities all over the world study the “Loison model” featuring a combination of tradition and innovation.”

Merano Wine Festival

Loison receives 5 Wine Hunter Awards: three GOLD go to the Lemon Panettone, to the Rose Panettone and to the two new varieties of Spiced Veneziana respectively. ROSSO goes to the NeroSale Panettone featuring Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel.

Premio WineHunter

The prestigious Wine Hunter Award goes to Italian and foreign gastronomic excellence. In 2017, the tasting committees headed by Helmuth Köcher recognized three of Loison’s products: one GOLD went to the Veneziana with Late Mandarin from Ciaculli, while two ROSSO went to the Noël Panettone and to the Panettone with Marrons Glacés respectively.

Merano Culinaria Award

The committee chaired by Helmuth Köcher, president and founder of the Merano Wine Festival, bestowed 4 awards to Loison: PLATINUM for the Panettone with Late Mandarin from Ciaculli, GOLD for the 2016 Rose Panettone, GOLD for the Cherry & Cinnamon Veneziana and ROSSO for the Butter Cookies.

Filippin Institute Award

Established in 1998 to honor former students who have achieved important goals in the professional field, Dario Loison received the award on May 21 at the Institute’s headquarters in Paderno del Grappa.
The award was presented to Dario Loison on May 21st, on the occasion of the school’s 47th Reunion of Alumni, for the following:
“For having been able to maintain unaltered over time the moral qualities developed at the Filippin Institute, with an eye always to the young and to their growth, both personally and professionally. For the passion that his pastry-making business reflects, for the respect he shows to the past and for the attention he pays to the future, with all the opportunities it has to offer. For his entrepreneurial spirit and for his vision, which often make him walk at his own special speed, all the while never forgetting to reach out to those who struggle to keep up with him”.

Coq d’Or Award

The 2014 Coq d’Or Award, a coveted award from the prestigious Guide des Gourmands, was given to Dario Loison, the only Italian winner, for his “irresistible Panettone”.
