Regalo Collection: A Journey Through the Loison Art of Gifting from 1999 to 2025
From the first wicker basket of 1999 to the 2025 set — four butter-coloured placemats embroidered in gold — unfolds a journey that spans 26 years of style, beauty, and the refined gesture of gifting, an authentic hallmark of Loison Pasticceri dal 1938.
The Loison Gift Collection was launched in 1999 from an intuition by Sonia Pilla, wife of Dario Loison and the creative mind behind Sonia Design: transforming the act of giving into an experience of beauty, elegance, and memory.
Over time, other collections dedicated to gifting were introduced—such as Pashmina, Elegance, Pensiero, and Coccole—broadening the vision and reinterpreting the style with ever-changing objects, materials, and inspirations.
From that initial idea, a continuously evolving story was born, renewed year after year through creations that blend craftsmanship, taste, and a deep culture of detail – values that have shaped the identity of Loison Pasticceri dal 1938.

1999–2005: THE ORIGINS OF THE GIFT
The debut features collections celebrating the warmth of home and the value of handmade work: wicker baskets, gold-glass plates, metal chargers, handcrafted bread and fruit baskets.
In 2003, the first collaborations with Italian artistic craftsmanship arrived, including hand-painted ceramic cake stands by L’Antica Deruta.
From 2004 to 2005, elegance took shape with the Pashmina Collection: fine Nepalese pashmina shawls paired with Murano-glass necklaces, a symbol of refinement that defined the aesthetic soul of Loison.

2006–2011: ELEGANCE BECOMES STYLE
These years saw the consolidation of a clear identity for the Gift Collection, blending fashion, design, and craftsmanship.
Pashminas, silk scarves, double-face shawls and the black patent shopper with jewel “L” charm expressed a new idea of everyday elegance—refined yet accessible.
Collections created specifically to celebrate gifting emerged as well—Pan & Toni, Elegance, Lui & Lei, Runner, Beauty—each with its own distinctive character and a unique interpretation of the gift, spanning fashion accessories, table textiles, and thoughtfully designed beauty cases.

2012–2016: THE COMFORT OF GIFTING
The concept expanded with the Coccole and Pensiero collections: scented teas, throws, candles, and home accessories evoked warm and intimate atmospheres.
From 2014 to 2016, the floral vintage cake-bag with ruffled border became a Loison icon, featuring understated tones and elegant materials.

2017–2019: TRADITION AND MATERIAL
Design became essential yet evocative: beechwood or fir cutting boards, laser-engraved or branded with the Loison signature, narrated the purity of artisan workmanship.
In 2019, the collection evolved with a hand-hammered centrepiece, a true art object combining functionality and beauty.

2020–2025: THE GIFT AS EMOTION
In recent years, the Loison Gift Collection has grown more narrative and emotional, expressing gifting through objects that evoke affection and memory.
From 2020 to 2022, the protagonists were the plush bears Giulietta and Romeo, gentle guardians of the panettone hidden inside their tummies, closed with a padlock and key—a symbol of care and love.
In 2023 and 2024 came the koala plush duo Kira and Kunky, the natural evolution of the concept. All proposals were accompanied by shoppers made from recycled PET, confirming Loison’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
Since 2023, the Coccola Collection has also enriched the range: a soft pouch in three tones—burgundy, dove-grey, and ivory—embellished with the iconic copper-embroidered “L”, designed to convey warmth and intimacy.
In 2025, the collection celebrates the elegance of gifting with a set of four practical, washable butter-coloured placemats that unite style and functionality, completed by a coordinated limited-edition shopper.
