“Export Italy Award” and “Export Champions 2023”: double awards for Dario Loison

Year after year, the artisan workshop in Costabissara “leavens” exports: in 2022 over €13 million in sales, 63% of which will be abroad in more than 70 countries. All this while maintaining stable and high product quality

It’s a spring that started under the best auspices for Loison Pasticceri, the small artisan laboratory in Costabissara: after the “Best e-commerce food integrated with physical points and store locator” award assigned last February during the E-commerce Food Conference, here is Dario Loison received two important recognitions in these days for his constant commitment to export: the “Export Italy Award” assigned by the UniExportManager Association and “Export Champions 2023” awarded by Il Sole 24 Ore and the German portal Statista. Objective indicators that recognize Loison Pasticceri’s ability to “rise” year after year in exports while still maintaining high and stable production quality: in 2022 alone, more than €13 million in sales, 63% of which abroad in more than 70 countries.

 

 

“Export Italy Award”
Presented by President Massimo Cugusi, the Export Italy Award was given by the UniExportManager Association in recognition of Loison’s successes in promoting and marketing its high quality products abroad with the following motivation: “Knowing well its competitive advantages, studying the reference market and a well-structured digital marketing work are the indispensable elements of the ‘Loison recipe’ to face foreign markets, a philosophy that sees the customer always and in any case at the center.

This award, now in its second edition, is designed to favor exporting companies that have a story to tell,” says Massimo Cugusi. “Compared to the first edition, this year we have favored replicable export stories such as that of Loison Pasticceri,” concludes the award chairman, “that can become an example for small and medium-sized companies that relate to exporting and induce them to tell success stories of entrepreneurs”.

Riconoscimento conferito dal quotidiano economico Il Sole 24 Ore e dal portale tedesco Statista, è una classifica di 250 aziende italiane con la più alta quota di Export relativa al fatturato e per il secondo anno consecutivo è stato assegnato a Loison Pasticceri. Per essere inclusi nella classifica occorre, tra le altre condizioni richieste, aver fatturato almeno 1,5 milioni di euro nel 2021, avere un polo produttivo italiano e produrre ed esportare prodotti fisici.

Sembra un successo scontato quello di Loison ma non è così: “L’espansione sui mercati esteri non è stato un percorso facile – racconta Dario Loison – richiede una buona dose di adattamento ai diversi contesti normativi, culturali ed economici, ma anche di perseveranza per affrontare le difficoltà che inevitabilmente si presentano. Tuttavia, grazie alla capacità di mettere in pratica alcuni nostri elementi distintivi come la trasparenza e l’innovazione continua, continuiamo ad ottenere grandi soddisfazioni, dimostrando con questi premi di essere in grado di gestire con successo la nostra penetrazione sui mercati internazionali”.

 

 

“Export Champions 2023”
Recognition awarded by the economic newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore and the German portal Statista, is a ranking of 250 Italian companies with the highest Export share relative to turnover and for the second year in a row was awarded to Loison Pasticceri. To be included in the ranking one must, among other conditions required, have a turnover of at least 1.5 million euros in 2021, have an Italian production hub, and produce and export physical products.

It sounds like a foregone success that of Loison, but it is not: “Expanding into foreign markets has not been an easy path,” says Dario Loison, “it requires a good dose of adaptation to different regulatory, cultural and economic contexts, but also perseverance to face the difficulties that inevitably arise. However, thanks to the ability to put into practice some of our distinctive elements such as transparency and continuous innovation, we continue to obtain great satisfaction, demonstrating with these awards that we are able to successfully manage our penetration into international markets.
